Our client, a highly reputable organisation, is seeking an experienced Data Warehouse / ETL Developer responsible for the development, testing, refinement and ongoing support and maintenance of their data warehouse and reporting solution.

Working in an Agile/SCRUM environment, where teams are spread across various locations in a continually changing environment, this is a challenging and rewarding role for a mid level Data Warehouse/ETL Developer that is looking for an outstanding opportunity to showcase their exceptional DW/ETL design skills.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, program, source data analysis, data transformation, testing, data quality monitoring, troubleshooting, deployment, documentation, support and maintenance of the company’s reporting solutions.
• Enhance work performed in an Agile/SCRUM environment and promote processes aligned to Agile Development of the Data Warehouse.
• Develop and implement data warehouse logical model and physical database structures based on Data Vault 2.0 methodology and ETL Framework.
• End to end software development.
• Perform testing, source code management, change control and documentation.
• Continually improve development, deployment and Data Warehouse operational processes.
• Build relationships with partner vendors.
• Work with DBAs to tune databases and programs in the resolution of issues.
• Ensure high quality Data Warehouse build and ongoing Data Warehouse support.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong data warehouse knowledge and ETL development skills, including data profiling, data quality management and BI reporting skills.
• Extensive experience in database / data warehouse developer, within medium to large sized systems.
• Extensive SQLServer Database, SSIS, Transact-SQL, ETL optimization, TFS, Visual Studio 2013 experience.
• IT degree and relevant certifications.
• Source data analysis and data profiling.
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Experience establishing criteria for data use/test cases.
• Data Modelling experience in ER/Studio, ERWIN or other data modelling tools.
