We are currently working on an exclusive recruitment search to find a Data Science Manager. You will be interested in joining a truly innovative and passionate Australian Organisation. You will play a strategic role in building out their enterprise data science & analytics platform.

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience within a leading analytics/data science role.
• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Math, Statistics or another engineering or technical discipline.
• A collaborator who can drive the build of data science & analytics platform capabailty within a greenfield environment.
• There is a strategic role and will be involved in building a small data science team, however, our client needs a hands-on doer, who enjoys getting down in the weeds.
• Experience with Cloud computing such as Google Cloud, Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Extensive track record of delivering end-to-end analytics and data science products through all phases including (but not limited to) intake prioritisation, discovery, development, automation and consistent communication with business stakeholders.
• Strong programming skills in R, Python, or similar language.
• Engage with business teams to find opportunities, understand requirements, and translate those requirements into technical solutions
• Design data science approach, applying tried-and-true techniques or developing custom algorithms as needed by the business problem
• Ability to extract meaningful business insights from data and identify the stories behind the patterns.
• Excellent presentation skills, distilling complex analysis and concepts into concise business-focused takeaways
